Advanced Placement Examination 2025

The Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) by the College Board is an opportunity for academic excellence, acknowledged by universities globally. Established in 1955, the AP® Program provides a platform for students to undertake U.S. university undergraduate-level courses while in high school, thereby earning undergraduate credit, advanced placement, or both.

2025 AP Exam Schedule:

Starting in May 2025, standard paper testing will be discontinued for 28 AP Exams – these exams will move to the Bluebook™ digital testing application. Students will take digital AP Exams in Bluebook.
Digital: Students complete multiple-choice and free-response questions in Bluebook, with all responses automatically submitted at the end of the exam
Hybrid: Students complete multiple-choice questions and view free-response questions in Bluebook. They hand write their free-response answers in paper exam booklets that are returned for scoring.

2025 AP Exam Eligibility

Students in any of the categories below are eligible to take AP Exams at the secondary school where they’re enrolled or at other AP-authorized schools or test centres:
Students actively enrolled in secondary school.
Secondary school-level students who are homeschooled, participate in independent study, or attend a virtual school.
Actively enrolled students who may be prepared to take an AP Exam prior to the ninth grade.
Recent secondary school graduates who need a specific AP Exam for university admission.

Testing Policies

I acknowledge that I will need to pay the test centre and register online with the College Board by the stated deadline to complete my AP Exam registration and receive an Admission Ticket from the test centre, or I will not be able to test.
I acknowledge that I have read and agree to test centre policies above, with respect to payment deadline, payment instructions, refunds, and cancellations.

Additional Testing Policies

You can take any or all of the 4 physics exams in the same year.
You cannot retake an exam in the same year, although you may retake it in a subsequent year.
You cannot take both Calculus AB and Calculus BC in the same year.
You cannot take 2 exams scheduled at the same date and time. Decide which exam you wish to take first and then take the other exam during the next testing window.
AP Exams at test centres are paper-and-pencil based and administered in person at the test centre. In-person digital exam options are not available for students outside the U.S. at this time.

Important ID Policy Update

Mandatory Documents:

Please plan any ID processing and applications in advance. Ensure you have acceptable ID to bring to the test site on exam day or you will not be able to test.

Refund Policy:
Please refer to the cancellation policy given below for the amounts on the refund that you will receive.
Rescheduling is not permitted.
However, if a candidate wishes to cancel their exam appointment, the last day to cancel is 31st October 2024 (for the Test Registration Period 1) and 28th February 2025(for the Test Registration Period 2).
50% of the amount will be refunded if informed by 31st October 2024 (for the Test Registration Period 1) and 28th February 2025 (for the Test Registration Period 2).

Other Important Points

Kindly share the payment ID along with a receipt once the payment is made.
No refund is entertained without the receipt.
No refund for the absentees / no show up students on the test date
