As a parent, my association with South City International School has been a remarkable journey, beginning from the pre-primary level and continuing through higher secondary. The school’s dedication to providing a well-rounded education is evident in both its academic and extracurricular offerings.
From an early age, my child was encouraged to explore diverse interests, whether it was through classroom learning or engaging in various activities beyond academics. The school's emphasis on extracurriculars has played a significant role in my child’s development. Our journey with SCIS began 7 years ago when our children joined in grades 1 and 3. Over the years, we've watched them grow into confident, well-rounded individuals, and much of that credit goes to the school's dedication to excellence.

As parents our choice of school had never been conventional. We wanted an educational institution which would not only focus on academic excellence of our child but rather on a holistic development. My daughter has been studying in SCIS since here Tiny Tots days. I must admit that the school not only focuses on the academics, but also onoverall development of the children. Also, I have noticed continuous efforts on the part of the teachers to identify and nurture the inherent talent of the children by providing them with relevant platforms and opportunities. How South City International School is an inclusive and dynamic learning platform As parents, it is indeed a matter of much delight that our son, Adhiraaj Dasgupta (4D), is a student of South City International School. The reasons are truly abundant.
The school, especially post the leadership transition, is a benchmark for exclusive-inclusive learning. Exclusive, in terms of the quality and intensity of the curriculum. Also, for an eclectic range of co-curricular activities, designed to nurture every conceivable muse of an emerging mind.

With each passing day, Ritisha is growing into a confident, optimistic and independent individual.
It is so overwhelming to see that the school is striking a perfect balance between curricular and co-curricular. Experiential learning has been adopted in most of the subjects teamed up with field visits.
More recently the introduction of various clubs have created a good exposure for the children.
Coming to academics, the option of offering parents the blueprint and a sample paper of the exam paper is an excellent idea. Also the availability of daily classwork or homework on the ERP is so convenient. The school almanac is so handy with minute details of events and dates of assessments that it allows every parent to design their personal calendar.

What I like most in SCIS is its focus is not only in academics but also in music, sports, dance, drama and other extracurricular activities. It tries to inculcate empathy, teamwork and creativity in its students.
Students go to school to study, but to become a healthy citizen of India, to appreciate art and culture, to think out of the box, to become creative, to have unique ideas, to work together in a team all these activities are equally important. SCIS takes care in developing a complete human being. the aim is not just achieving high marks in examinations.
My child had just started getting comfortable in a new environment and her new school when COVID-19 hit. As we scrambled to rush back to be with our family, school was the last thing on our minds. To our utter surprise, within days of the announcement of the lockdown, South City International School was ready: We had our life’s first-ever online classes. This preparedness and efficiency on part of the school, from a parent’s perspective, ticks all the right boxes. And when my second child was ready for school, SCIS was the natural choice. A school that perfectly balances academics with extra-curricular activities, SCIS has been a delight to be associated with. The biggest privilege for me as a parent has been the opportunity to interact with exceptional teachers who are genuinely concerned about our children’s overall growth.
